In celebration and in memory . . . . .

a tribute to the life of

Kristin Lynn Saragusa

September 2, 1968 -- May 20, 2007

Kristin came into this life as a sweet, loveable, lively little girl, and she brought much happiness to those around her, especially her parents, Jim and Pat.

Kristin attended Eugene Ware Grade School and Claude Huyck Grade School in Kansas City, Kansas. She was enthusiastic about everything she did, whether it was interacting with people or playing her favorite sports, softball and soccer.

Kristin graduated from Washington High School in 1987. She attended Bethany Medical Center-School of Radiation Technology, graduating in 1991. For the last seven years of her life she was employed as an x-ray technician and special assistant to Steven Smith, MD at Northland Bone and Joint.

Kristin was a very loving and devoted mother to her children, Breann and Zain. She laughed and played with them, encouraged them, and disciplined them. She was also a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Kristin was a beautiful and vibrant person. As an avid sports fan, Kristin loved the KC Chiefs, KU Basketball, and cheering at her children’s soccer games. She cherished her family, friends, and co-workers.

Kristin’s spirit did not die . . . . it will live forever. She will always be in our hearts and minds.

You can shed tears that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
Or you can be full of the love that you shared
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday
You can remember her and only that she is gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
